5. Account Termination & Data Export

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms:

  • Data Export Window: Upon cancellation by the user, workspace data export options for GDD files and assets remain available until the end of the active billing cycle.

6. Limitation of Liability & Service Status

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Check real-time uptime metrics on our System Status Page. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Integration Outages: API service downtimes or failures of external integrations (Steam, Unity, AI providers).
  • Maintenance Window: Downtime caused by scheduled emergency maintenance.

7. Game Jams, Submissions & Playable Ads License

When hosting or participating in a Game Jam organized or hosted on our platform, the following terms apply to all game submissions, WebGL builds, media assets, and participant data:

  • Intellectual Property & Ownership: Participants and game developers retain full ownership of their submitted game entries, code, assets, and game concepts.
  • Non-Exclusive Promotional License: By submitting an entry to any Game Jam, participants grant STUDIO OS and its affiliated studio hosts a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to feature, display, host, play, stream, and promote their submitted game entries, WebGL builds, screenshots, videos, and project media across the platform, community showcases, landing pages, and network applications in a tastefully designed presentation.
  • Playable Ads & Interactive Demonstrations: Playable WebGL builds and interactive game entry previews submitted to Game Jams may be hosted, showcased, or rendered as interactive playable ads and showcase demos anywhere across the STUDIO OS ecosystem, partner networks, and platform applications to highlight community talent in a premium format.
  • Organizer Roster Data Sharing: When registering for a Game Jam, participant profile details (Full Name, Affiliated Studio Name, and Contact Email) are shared with the Host Studio organizer strictly for event management, participant verification, and reward/prize distribution.
